HYGIENE AND PROTECTION MEASURES

For the safety of our guests, we have taken care of the preparation of hygienic and protective measures at Penzion Mayer. We took into account the recommendations of the National Institute of Public Health (NIJZ).

LIST OF MEASURES:
  • Only healthy employees can come to work, which we check daily.
  • We provide employees with all the necessary protective equipment.
  • The prescribed safety distance between individuals in a row in front of the reception is at least 1.5 m.
  • Hand disinfectants are available throughout all the Pension.
  • We regularly disinfect reception desks.
  • Ventilate several times a day.
  • We enable cashless payment.
  • The room access keys are disinfected for each guest individually.
  • We ventilate the elevator several times a day
  • After the departure of the guests, the rooms are carefully cleaned, disinfected and ventilated.
  • The guest can choose not to clean his room during his stay, which must be reported at the reception. In this case, the guest is advised to ventilate his room regularly.
  • The mini bar can be filled only at the request of the guest.
  • We ventilate the room during cleaning.
  • Bed linen and towels are also washed at high temperatures.
  • We regularly disinfect all common areas, tables and chairs in the breakfast room.
  • Food is prepared and served in accordance with strict safety protocols.

Terms and conditions

1. CHECK IN/OUT

Check-in time is 2 PM
Check-out time is 11:00 AM

2. BOOKING CONDITIONS

You can make your reservation by phone, mail or through our online reservation system. As the person who wants / will do or will make a reservation, undertakes to provide us with an active email address at the time of booking and authorize us to use it for the purposes of informing and checking the reservation. In the event that the user is not reachable electronically or by telephone (providing us with an incorrect or invalid email address and telephone number), we reserve the right to cancel that reservation.

3. RIGHT TO REFUSE

We reserve the right to refuse your reservation and in special circumstances the right to cancel, adjust or modify your reservation. If we need to cancel, modify or change the booking, we will do our best to offer an alternative appointment. If you do not accept our alternative offer, we will refund all the money.

4. PAYMENT AND WITHDRAWAL TERMS

You can pay your accommodation bill with cash or credit card.
Pension accepts payments with the following credit cards:

• Visa
• Euro / Mastercard
• Maestro

We reserve the right to pre-authorize your credit card at time of booking, at any time before guest's arrival or during stay.

If you leave before the scheduled departure date, special and promotional offers do not apply. We do not charge for cancellation fees. The guest is obliged to confirm the reservation 10 days before arrival.

5. SMOKING

In accordance with Slovenian law, Penzion Mayer *** operates under the NON-Smoking Directive within the entire area, which includes: all rooms, breakfast room, public indoor areas, common areas and corridors. Guests who do not follow the instructions and will smoke inside the premises will be charged the cleaning fee of in-depth cleaning of upholstered furniture, floors, curtains and space (approx. € 250.00). Smoking is allowed only outside Pension and on the terrace. For all information you can use the 24-hour front desk from Monday to Sunday.


6. CHILDREN AND ADDITIONAL BEDS

Children under 5 years stay free of charge at the hotel - when sharing a bed with their parents. Extra beds in standard double rooms are provided, but an extra charge of 20 € / night is required.

Pension offers the possibility of baby beds in the room. When booking a room, you must also book a baby bed (no extra charge). The number of cots is limited - 3.

7. PETS

They are allowed in the Pension. Extra charge for a pet is define on cleaning needs. When you book a room, guests must write us that he is comming with pet, as the number of rooms in which pets are allowed is limited.

8. PARKING

Parking is available free of charge for all guests of the Pension. They are located in the immediate vicinity - before the house. There is a limited number of parking spaces available - it is not possible to reserve a parking space. In most cases, there is always enough empty parking space. We are not responsible or liable for any damage to cars in our parking lot.

9. LOSS AND DAMAGE TO GUESTS

We are not responsible for lost or damaged property or for any damage suffered by you or anyone in your company during the accommodation on our property.

You can keep your money and valuables in room safes.

10. COMPLAINTS

If there are any defects in the room, the guest should immediately inform the owner or manager and allow the owner or manager to correct the problem in due course. If the guest does not comply with this, he / she is not entitled to change the duration of the accommodation.

11. ACCESS AND ENTRY RIGHT

We reserve the right to enter the room at reasonable times and for justifiable reasons.

The owner of the property and the maintainers may enter the room for justifiable reasons, especially for urgent maintenance and inspection.

12. ILLEGAL USE

This Agreement will terminate without charge, in the case of ilegal drug use, abuse of any person, etc. It is forbidden to use retirement rooms for non-legal purposes. Any party or house party is forbidden. The rest period at Pension Mayer is from 10 pm to 7 am daily.

13. SAFETY

It is forbidden to store highly flammable objects, dangerous objects and objects that pose a danger to others in any room in the boarding house, especially in rooms, and thus pose a threat to human life and health.

14. PENSION PROPERTY

The guest is obliged to take care of the property of the Pension. In the event of loss or damage to property, the guest will be charged the cost of the damage. The guest is also responsible for all actions of his or her visitors in the area of the house and for damage caused by family members or visitors. We reserve the right to charge damage to the guest even after the departure of the guest, if he caused it, but did not report it at the departure or at any time during the stay at the reception. This also applies to the use of mini-bar items and hotel inventory - after the departure of a guest who has not reported the consumption of mini-bar items or will be found to have disposed of hotel inventory.

15.  DATA PROTECTION AND CONFIDENTIALITY

The Pension complies with the rules on confidentiality and acts in accordance with the protection of personal data. Personal information about the guest may be required prior to the guest's arrival as well as on the guest's arrival or stay. The guesthouse may require the following personal guest information: guest's name, date of birth, personal address, nationality, ID or passport number, contact information, guest's arrival and departure dates, and credit card information. It can request the same information for all accompanying guests. Guest personal information is used to book rooms, make payments and report guests to the police - which are legally required. In exceptional cases, information may also be provided to third parties, as defined by applicable Slovenian legislation.

16. TOURIST TAX

Tourist tax is obligatory according to Slovenian legislation. It refers to every tourist who visits Bled and stays there. Each guest pays the tourist tax to the accommodation provider. It costs € 3.13 per person, children from 7 to 18 years old € 1.56. Children under 7 years are free of charge from the tourist tax. The amount of the tourist tax is not included in the basic room rate.

17. GENERAL TERMS - third parties (agencies, brokers, partners)

The General Terms and Conditions apply to all subscribers (guests) of the Pension Mayer who book hotel services for themselves or their contractual partners. The contract between the client and the Pension Mayer is made at the moment the hotel receives a written confirmation (sufficient by e-mail) from the subscriber to order the service, and the pension confirms it in writing (by e-mail).

With this action it is considered that the guest fully accepts the General Terms and Conditions.

18. AVAILABILITY AND MOVEMENT OF RESERVATION

Pension has a limited number of rooms. In case of errors, unforeseen situations or technical breakdowns, the Pension reserves the right to relocate existing reservations to another Pension of the same or higher category, in which case the guest does not cover any additional charges caused by the relocation of the reservation.

All prices quoted on our offers and on the website are in Euros (€, EUR) and include VAT.
